Things you never knew your cellphone could do

There are a few things you could do with your cell phone that you probably didn't even knew that such things can be done.Below are a few things that you can do with your cell phone.

Emergency

(I)

The emergency number worldwide for mobile is 112.If you find yourself out of coverage area of your mobile network and there is an emergency, dial 112 and the mobile will search any existing network to establish the emergency number for you, and interestingly this number 112 can be dialed even if the keypad is locked.

Have you locked your keys in car?Does your car have remote key?

This problem we might have face sometime in our lives where we are busy with some important work and by mistake we have forgotten the keys in the car and it is locked. But now with the help of your mobile you can unlock your car without even a key but the catch is you should have an remote key. Here is how you can do it, if you lock your keys in the car and the spare keys are at the home, call someone at home on their cellphone from your cellphone. Hold your cellphone about a foot from your car door and have the person at your home press the unlock button, holding it near the mobile phone at their end. Your car will unlock. Saves someone from having to drive your keys to you. Distance is no big hurdle here. You could be hundreds of miles away, and if you can reach someone who has the other "remote" for your car, you can unlock the doors (or the trunk).

Hidden Battery Power

Imagine your cellphone battery power is very low, you are expecting an important call and you don't have the charger.Nokia instruments comes with a reserve battery power. To activate, press the key *3370# Your cell will restart with this reserve and the instrument will show an upto 50% increase in the battery power. This reserve will get charged when you charge your cell phone next time.

How to disable a stolen mobile phone?

Now this a serious problem that haunts us all cell phone users. If at all your cell phone gets stolen you can disable it by getting your mobile serial number and providing it to your operator. To get your mobile serial number just press *#06# A 15 digit code will appear on your screen. This number is unique to our handset. Write it down and keep it safe somewhere. If at all your cell phone gets stolen just provide this digit to your service provider and they will block your handset. So the theif that has stolen your mobile will not be able to use it even if he changes the sim card or even sell it. Better be safe than sorry.

Would you like to know if your cell phone is original or not?

Just type in *#06#

After you type in the code a 15 digit mobile equipment identity number will appear. Then check the 7th and 8th number in that 15 digit code from the front side.

If the seventh and eight digits are 02 or 20 this means your cell phone was assembled in Emirates which is very bad quality

If the seventh and eight digits are 08 or 80 this means your cell phone was manufactured in Germany which is fair quality

If the seventh and eight digits are 01 or 10 this means your cell phone was manufactured in Finland which is very good

If the seventh and eight digit are 00 this means you cell phone was manufactured in the France which is the best mobile quality

If the seventh and eight digit are 13 this means your cell phone was assembled in Azerbaijan which is very bad quality and also dangerous for health.
